Jerusalem Design Week

A participatory picture of Jerusalem
The City Lab asked the audience a series of questions using different laboratory devices that collected the answers in liquid form. Topics included emotions like love, fear, worry, ambition and goals amongst others, to help participants build a bigger picture of Jerusalem. We wanted each individual to create a formula based on their own perception of the city. There was also a layer of sound; each time a participant chose an answer, the installation generated a certain sound, which became part of a collective song.
City Lab Jerusalem turned out to be a participative experience that created a metaphorical game between the city and the way the citizens understand it as a chemical formula.
