At Domestic Data Streamers we were commissioned by the Catalan government to explain the national Healthcare Plan of the territory in an exhibition that opened in December 2019. We decided to broaden the focus and, make the visitors the main characters of the show.
Participatory experiences that encompass sound and light design
The exhibition was designed to keep a fine balance between information and interaction because our main goal was to shorten the distance between citizens and important topics like health and political strategy plans. We transformed raw data into relatable numbers that could clearly explain the situation of health, treatments, hospitals and healthcare professionals in Catalonia, but that also allowed people to experience the sounds of a rescue helicopter and share through visualisations in real time their understanding of the future of health.
