In 2021, Barcelona was designated the World Capital of Sustainable Food. To commemorate this honour, we created an interactive installation aimed at raising public awareness about the interconnectedness of dietary habits with crucial aspects of our world, including the climate crisis, local economic development, culture, politics, social rights, and health.
These tools provided a unique opportunity to learn, reflect, and debate on the central themes of the event, exploring personal relationships with food and considering the path towards a more sustainable diet. The piece toured 10 different markets around Barcelona, capturing the interactions of local residents.
